One mission, three institutions

Each serves a different stage of a person's education, so a family can stay with the Trust for a generation.

Founded 2005

SV English Medium High School

The founding institution of the Trust. It teaches LKG to Class 10 (SSLC) in English on the Karnataka State Board (KSEEB) syllabus, co-educational, with experienced faculty and a structured, caring environment.

Where most nearby government schools teach in Kannada and are stretched for resources, SV High School gives children a route to competitive exams, higher education and professional careers. A quarter of its seats are free.

  • Science and computer labs, library and playground
  • Multi-storey academic block of 32,500 sq ft on a 1.34-acre campus
  • 500+ students enrolled

I and II PUC

SV Pre-University College

The step between school and university is where many rural students drop out. With no local PUC, a student has to commute far, move away, or stop studying. SV PU College removes that barrier.

It offers Science, Commerce and Arts streams for the Karnataka PUC Board examinations, and the Trust's 25% free-seat policy applies in full.

Skill and vocational

SV Skill Development Centre

The Centre sits where education meets livelihood. It focuses on women and youth who did not continue in formal education, with practical vocational and IT training designed to lead to work or a small business.

More than 500 women have completed training, and 300+ people have completed IT and computer skills courses. The need is clear: many women in the region have strong capability and limited formal qualifications, and need only structured skills to earn independently.
